School Sports Success

West Lothian Schools Gymnastics Competition
The annual schools gymnastics competition took place on Thursday 2nd February at Craigswood Sports Centre. Over 100 gymnasts across 10 secondary schools took part and the standard of competition was extremely high. The James Young team achieved great success 
2nd at Level 2 – Fraser , Mandy, Erin and . Amy also got individual Bronze.

Kickstart Summer Programme

The Kickstart Summer Programme is a collaboration between the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University, Queen Margaret University and Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC). It provides an opportunity for students to attend university for one week, taking part in a number of subject workshops within Science, Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences. All students also attend university skills sessions designed to help them prepare for their Highers / Advanced Highers, and their move into Higher Education.
