Teenage Booster and Meningitis ACWY Vaccinations

Consent packs for vaccinations from NHS Lothian have been circulated to pupils in S3 (and in S4 – S6 who have not yet received their vaccinations).

Every year, pupils in S3 are offered the Teenage booster to complete their life long protection, through routine immunisations, against tetanus, diphtheria and polio. Any pupils in S4 – S6 who have not yet received this vaccination will also be offered this.

Huge Congratulations to Josh and Jacob represented the Scottish Karate Federation at the 45th Wado European Championships in Paris recently.

Both won a silver medals at Under 16 and Josh won another silver for Kumite in Under 14s.

Parents’ Evening for Senior pupils takes place on Thursday 7th December and Wednesday 13th December from 5pm – 7.30pm.  The online appointment booking system allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments.

Sporting Success


A huge well done to the James Young Senior Girls Football team who came 1st overall at the Secondary Competition at Deans CHS on Friday! ⚽️👏🏆

Well done to the S1-2 pupils who took part in the Giant Heptathlon Event on Friday at Deans CHS. It was a very competitive event against all other secondary’s in West Lothian and the team places 5th overall.
