The ability to use software effectively is essential for success in employment, further and higher education. The course builds on existing skills and knowledge and progressively aims to:

  • develop an understanding of the role of administration in all organisations
  • develop an understanding of laws that affect all employees
  • develop an appreciation of good customer care
  • develop IT skills and use them to perform administrative tasks in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Emerging Technologies
  • develop skills in the organisation and management of events
