The school aims to ensure that pupils have access to healthy school lunches. The school dining room offers a range of food including a wide selection of ‘healthy options’. Special dietary requirements can be catered for – please contact the school to discuss your child’s needs. Please also advise the school immediately should your child have any allergies. Pupils can also opt to bring a packed lunch and eat it in designated areas of the school.

We discourage younger students from going to ‘The Centre’ at lunchtime.

Pupils may be eligible for a free mid-day meal if their parents are in receipt of a qualifying benefit as detailed on West Lothian Council’s website.

A cashless catering system operates and all pupils are issued with one free swipe-card (which combines as a Young Scot card) which can be credited by pupils in school or by parents sending cheques to the school kitchen. A charge of £2 is made for replacement cards.
